PTI 11th Anniversary - Day 7 Challenge

Hi!  I can't believe that it has been almost a year since I posted a card.  It's been a rough year but I'm going to try to post a little more frequently and the PTI challenge is good to get me going.

The Day 7 Challenge is to use only dies - no stamps.

I made this valentine using the new PTI die Matchbook Medley.  I wasn't thinking about entering this in the challenge when I made it and it is already in an envelope to give away so sorry I don't have better photos.

Here are the supplies that I used:

Stamps: none
Paper: White, black, red, Bitty Big: Pure Poppy, Bitty Big: True Black, silver
Ink: none
Dies: Matchbook Medley; Huge Hugs
Other: Tiny Attacher, foam tape

Here are a few more Valentines that I made using the Matchbook Medley die but that do have stamping so not for the challenge.

Here is the inside.

Stamps: Life is What You Bake It
Paper: White, black, Hawaiian Shores, Bitty Big:Pink Posey, silver
Ink: Smokey Shadow, Hawaiian Shores, silver, black
Dies: Matchbook Medley; Life is What You Bake It
Other: Tiny Attacher, foam tape, tiny heart punch

Papertrey June Blog Hop Challenge

Today is the Papertrey June Blog Hop Challenge.  The inspiration photo is below.

I wanted to use the last of my new PTI toys Heart-2-Heart #4 and of course more hexagons.  First I stamped and placed my hexagons on a piece of white card stock using the 3 hexagon design from Nicole. I had to place the template at an angle on the card stock to get the 2 rows to go straight across.  Next I tied some yellow and white Baker's twine above the hexagons.  Then I die cut and stamped the telephone. It is popped up on dimensionals on the white-yellow-green layer which is also popped up dimensionals.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment three times across the bottom.  A pretty clean and simple card but I like the happy colors!

Supplies:
Stamps: PTI Heart-2-Heart #4, PTI Happy Hexagons
Paper: White, SU Daffodil Delight and Always Artichoke
Ink: SU Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade and Always Artichoke
Accessories: Baker's Twine, dimensionals
Tools: Heart-2-Heart #4 die, Cover Plate: Hexagon Die
