Nautical

Today I'm making a card using the new PTI set called Nautical. It arrived while I was out of town and I've been itching to play with it. I'm just sneaking into The Challenge #40 and also CASology #152 and colourQ #296.  Wow!

The colors of the waves are Soft Sky and Marina Mist. The boat is Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight. I popped it up on dimensionals. Well I'm about to be late for church so better get this posted.

Relax and enjoy your Sunday. Stay cool. We in the Pacific NW are really suffering a heat wave!!

CTD275 and More Dots

I hope your weather is better than here in the Pacific NW. It's been pea soup fog for the last 2 days. I'm pretty tired of the gray!!  So when it's yucky outside it's a good time to hit the craft room.  Here's a simple one layer card made for the Color Throwdown Challenge which also has dots for the CAS-ology Challenge.  Since I have a cold one layer was about all I could handle :-)

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Many Dots (Hero Arts), Birthday Bash Sentiments (PTI)
Paper: Neenah Solar White

PP178 & CAS-ology 78 Dot

Hi! Back in the stamp room yesterday and I got in 2 challenges - The Paper Players color challenge and CAS-ology's challenge to use dots.

You can't see it well in the picture but I went over the word Birthday with a Gelly Roll "Stardust" gel pen. It gives it a glittery look in real life.

That's it for today. Back tomorrow with a card by my dad :-)  Yes, not for my dad but made by my dad.

SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Background Check (TAWS), Think Big Favorites #12 (PTI)
Paper: Neenah Solar White, Coastal Cabana (SU)
Ink: Primrose Petals, Pear Pizzazz, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry markers (SU), Versafine Onyx Black
Other: Gelly Roll "Stardust" gel pen, Pool Party Baker's twine (SU), dimensionals

1 Card - Many Challenges

Hi! Happy Saturday!  Here's a card I made yesterday that fits with several challenges.

Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Flower Power, CASology: Bloom, colourQ #189 and CAS(E) this Sketch #28.   Can you believe that? 4 sketches!

I made this card because my daughter says I've doing too many geometric cards. This is for you Liz :-)

I first stamped the sentiment and then positioned it so I could see where to stamp the flowers. Then I ran the stamped flower panel through my Big Shot using the linen impression plate.  The sentiment panel is up on dimensionals.  That's about it.  This card will go into my stash for Operation Write Home.  If you haven't heard of it check it out!  Have a great weekend!

Supplies by Stampin'Up unless noted:
Stamps: Bloomin' Marvelous (SAB), Irresistibly Ikat (PTI)
Paper: Ruby Red, White
Ink: Ruby Red, Calypso Coral, Certainly Celery, Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories/Tools: Framelits-Labels Collection, Linen and Canvas Impression Plate (PTI), dimensionals
