Love You Valentine

I have been wanting to participate in more challenges so I made this card for FTL124.

I didn't have a heart punch big enough so I freehanded the heart and then doodled in it with a Rose Red marker.  The small heart under the button is punched out using the Heart to Heart punch with Rose Red cardstock.  There isn't actually any stamping on this card because I used some rub-ons from Stampin'Up.

Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red (small heart), Whisper White, Rose Red Print DP
Ink: Rose Red marker
Accessories: Love Impressions Rub Ons, Oval and Rectangle Nestabilities, 5/8" white satin ribbon, Dot EF, Heart to Heart punch (small heart under button), BItty Button, linen thread, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, Scallop border punch

Get Well Dad

I am now officially retired and so I am going to try to be a lot more regular about posting on my blog. It won't be real snazzy because it is basically just for me but who knows.  Maybe it will morph into something more later.  Here goes for today.  I made this card for my dad who is having hip surgery next week.

Stamps: Have A Seat, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Autumn Spice DP
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: large & small oval punches, non SU ribbon, Early Espresso marker & Color Spritzer, library clip, dimensionals
