Titus is 11 Months

This card was for my cutie pie grandson Titus who is now 11 months old. ,

I tried to copy what I've seen others do by adding Glossy Accents over the number 11 to give it shine and dimension. Mostly it just looks blobby or maybe it's gloopy. Whatever it didn't turn out like I'd hoped.  I guess I need more practice on this technique :-)  After attaching everything I thought it didn't seem festive enough so I squeezed my ink pads together to get ink in the lids, I took a paint brush full of water and swished it around in the lid and then tapped the brush over my card to spritz on some color.  The little puffs of smoke behind the truck are really clouds and the dirt was made using the Itty Bitty Backgrounds set.

Happy 11 month birthday Titus!

Titus is 9 Months Old

Once again it's time for a card for my grandson. He's 9 months and just started crawling. My daughter, her husband and Titus are coming out to visit next week and I can't wait to see them! So here's the card. This month I went with a pirate theme. I die cut the ship from Ahoy Matey and popped it up on dimensionals over the treasure map.

Hope you are having a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps: Ahoy Matey (Clearly Besotted), Treasure Island (TAWS)
Paper: Black, White
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black

One more thing. My daughter crocheted this Viking cap for his Halloween costume. Of course he was the cutest kid out Trick or Treating!

Happy 8 Month Bday Titus!

Today is my cutie pie grandson's 8 month birthday. This is for you Titus!

I used the new PTI Cover Plate: Snow Drifts to make the hills. I cut a curve into the bottom side of the upper hill since it was straight across and I didn't think it looked quite right.  Each of the trucks is popped up on dimensionals.  I used clouds from the Little Hot Rod set as the puffs of smoke behind each truck.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, and here he is. It's not a great shot. We were Facetiming today and I snapped a screen shot as he tried to figure out the computer.

Grandson Titus is 6 Months Old

Babies just grow too fast! My cute little grandson is now 6 months old. I just got back from visiting him. Of course I visited my daughter and her husband but you know it's all about the baby :-)   I live in Washington and he lives in Georgia. You couldn't get much further away. Thank goodness for FaceTime!

I like simple so the card is pretty straight forward.  You can't see it well in the picture but the turquoise piece was run through my Big Shot with the Linen Impression Plate.   The tag and the number are popped up on dimensionals.  I wasn't sure exactly where I was going with the tag so I attached before stamping the bottom part of the tag. Oops! Don't do that.  When I stamped the turquoise arrows there must have been ink on the edge of the acrylic block and it got on the bottom of the 6. Rats! That's why there are 2 sequins there. Cover up!  And then when I stamped the black I stuck my arm on the black ink pad. Double rats!  Ah well. That's the fun of stamping, right?

Supplies:
Stamps: Live Love Life (PTI)
Paper: Crumb Cake, Naturals Ivory, Tempting Turquoise (SU)
Ink: Tempting Turquoise (SU), Versafine Onxy Black
Accessories: Sequins (Avery Elle), linen twine,  dimensionals, glue dots
Tools: By the Numbers die, By the Numbers Mat die, Linen & Canvas Impression Plate (PTI), Ticket Corner punch (SU), 1/8 inch circle punch, QuickStik Craft Tool (Lifestyle Crafts)

Happy 6 month birthday Titus! You're half a year old! How did that happen?

Titus is 5 Months Old!

My adorable little grandson is now 5 months old and he's a cutie but then I'm prejudiced. Here is the card that I made for him.

I case'd this card from KandRdesigns because I thought it was adorable and perfect for this occasion.  I didn't have the Simple Circles die that Kara used so I just stamped the circles all right next to each other and then cut them out by hand. Wish I had that die!

And here he is. Happy 5 month birthday, Titus!

Stamps: Out of This World, Boy Basics: Simple Circles (PTI)
Paper: Whisper White (SU), Hawaiian Shores (PTI)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Going Gray, Basic Blaci (SU), Hawaiian Shores (PTI)

My Grandson is 3 Months Old!

This is for the 3 month birthday of my grandson, Titus.  It also sneakily is for the Seize the Birthday Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge for things with wings.

The theme for his bedroom is red, white and blue and also transportation. So for her baby shower my older daughter and I made a a bunch of these little planes, some cars and trains and hung them from bare tree branches as a centerpiece on the table.  I thought it would be cute to use one on his card.  You can't see it well in the picture but the red glimmer paper is all sparkly and pretty.  Hope he likes it! Thanks for stopping by.

I just got this Papertrey Ink set because my daughter had the cutest little baby boy 2-1/2 weeks ago.  I thought I would give it some ink for a couple challenges this week - Inkspirational sketch challenge and the ColourQ challenge.

The card is pretty straight forward. The rocket is popped up on dimensionals and then the Caribbean/MM layer under the rocket is also on dimensionals.  I just got the enamel dots and was so glad that I actually had some in the collection that matched Summer Starfruit. (I so do not like that color!)

Paper: Midnight Muse, Cool Caribbean, Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe DSP (Stampin'Up)
Ink: Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit (SU) (I used both the ink pads & markers)
Accessories: My Mind's Eye "Winter Wonderland" Enamel Dots, dimensionals
