CMCC#70

Today I made a card for the the Colour Me Challenge which is to use monochromatic colors of Crisp Cantaloupe.

I stamped an array of butterflies in Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral and Sweet Blush.  I added a layer of vellum over the top and embossed the sentiment in silver.

I had a really difficult time getting the vellum attached because it was warped. I need to work on that.  I thought I might need special vellum tape but my XL Runner Tape worked well and doesn't show through.

Thanks for stopping by!

SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Beautiful Butterflies, Greaceful Greetings (pti)
Paper: Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White (SU), vellum
Ink: Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral (SU), Sweet Blush  (pti)
Other: Versamark, Silver embossing powder

Edited 5/13:  My card was chosen as a Colour Connoisseur Honorable Mention. Wahoo!

Vellum can be very hard to work with after its been embossed...I very well know this from my project! Yours still turned out awesome! I love the tri-colored butterflies under you vellum layer! Thanks for playing with us at Colour Me!

Beautiful card! If you hadn't mentioned about struggling with the vellum I would have never known! It looks so neat and tidy :D Thanks so much for playing along with the Colour Me challenge this week.
